I’ve been to Gucci Shoes show many times, it’s far from a Filmore, but at least it’s not named The Verizon Fillmore New York at Gucci Shoes show。

I think thats what Jones Beach amphitheatre is now. Still, using the Fillmore name seems ridiculous in a way…as that was Billy Graham and this is so not. And really i think people will refer to it as “Gucci Shoes show” forever anyway, the way we all call “jones beach” jones beach.

Nice to see they’re going to do some “updating” as its become a bit of a dump IMO.

More like “unadorned”, IMHO. As in “the unadorned no-BS shoes venue in NYC is a dying breed, sad to say”. Makes me feel like a bit of a dinosaur when I recall seeing great shows there in my youth, like the Stranglers or Stiff Little Fingers….
