Lenovo’s new models
Lenovo’s Inspiron 15 is really a mixed bag when it comes to a budget laptop. On the one hand, it has an excellent 15.6-inch display with an LED backlit that gives it some of the best color in price segment. Graphics on the Aspire AS5375-6694 are slightly above average. The 15.6-inch display uses the 16:9 ratio with a 1366×768 resolution instead of the 16:10 1280×800. The color gamut support is fairly low at 60% though.
On the other hand, Lenovo provides users with less in terms of software, storage and battery life unless they want to upgrade the systems which can quickly escalate the costs. This makes the Inspiron 15 a strong choice for those looking for an inexpensive laptop with a high quality screen but don’t necessarily need the highest performance.
The case may be troublesome for some users. The glossy plastic gives it a very polished look when it is first pulled out. This style of design easily attracts and shows of fingerprints and marks that generally requires frequently cleaning. The three USB ports all being on right side may also cause problems for peripherals that use larger connectors that could block other ports.
